Mantyhose - eMANcipation or borderline cross-dressing? - StyleList

The "Shrek"-themed wedding of Tracy Hughes and feather hair extension Vivian Williams, complete with Disney character guests. Photo: Wales News ServiceSomething old, something new, something borrowed, something... green?!?While most brides want to feel like a princess on their wedding day, Tracey Williams of Wales just might be the only one who wanted to be, er, Princess Fiona. Williams and her new hubby Vivian (not a typo) tied the knot while dressed as the lead characters from "Shrek," the Daily Express reports.(Kind of makes that "Flintstones" wedding seem subtle, huh?)Rocking green face paint (or a bad case of seasickness) and lace wigs ogre-inspired costumes, the two crazy kids said "I Do" in what will surely go down as a fairy-tale wedding. The couple -- who saw "Shrek" on their first date -- dreamed up the unconventional ceremony after being told by friends that they resembled the cartoon couple, according to the paper. With friends like these, who needs enemies? In addition to the green paint, 33-year-old Tracey reportedly decked herself out in fake ears and a red wig, while her 53-year-old groom busted out his best checked pants. Donkey sent his regrets."When we got together, 'Shrek' was the first film we watched," Tracey told the paper."We got addicted to Shrek and Fiona soon after. People always said we looked like the characters when we went on nights out."Even though Shrek and front lace wigs Fiona are both green ogres, we didn't take offense because we like them so much.""Everyone said I made a lovely Princess Fiona and Viv was the perfect Shrek.""Neither of us needed persuading at all," added Vivian. And they lived happily ever after...Meanwhile, check out this dissolvable, eco-friendly wedding dress.
